Job summary

McLaren Health Care, headquartered in Grand Blanc, Michigan, seeks an Emergency Department technician/ERT to provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role requires completing arrhythmia training with min 80% score and competency testing for IV and urinary catheter placement.

Qualifications

Position Summary

Responsible for providing basic nursing care andspecific nursing functions within the Emergency Department under the directionof the registered nurse.ERTs willcomplete basic arrhythmia class for ERTs with a minimum score of 80% on thewritten test within two attempts.Inaddition, they must satisfactorily complete the competency testing for IV andurinary catheter placement.

Required

• Possess high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess BCLS certification.
• Possess licensure as Emergency MedicalTechnician/Paramedic.
• Possess minimum of six months EmergencyDepartment or Emergency Medical Technician experience.
