Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson, MT is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support nursing staff and provide safe, compassionate care. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care, maintaining a clean, organized ED environment, and responding to patient needs as assessed by the RN.

Per-diem schedule; day shift. Minimum qualifications include MT EMT or advanced license, nursing assistant or NA certification, or National Medical Assistant/BLS certification, plus 6

Qualifications

• MT EMT licenses or equivalent required.
• 6 months experience.
• Successful completion of orientation or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in providing patient care.
• Support a safe, quiet, clean environment for nursing care delivery.
• Perform assigned tasks according to skill level and patient needs as assessed by the RN.

Education

Montana Emergency Medical Technician License Or Montana Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License Or Montana Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License Or Montana Nursing Assistant Certification License Or National Medical Assistant Certification Or National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
