Job summary

The Emergency Department (ED) technician at UVA Community Health will provide patient services, assist the care team, and help maintain supplies and equipment in a fast-paced environment. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 2 years of ED technician experience preferred, and relevant licensure or training such as EMT, phlebotomy, or ECG tech.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of ED Technician experience preferred.
• EMT/Phlebotomy/ECG tech licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient services in the ED under supervision of licensed staff.
• Clean, stock, and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Collect data on patient status and report to the ED team.
