Required: High school diploma or equivalent, Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, CPI on hire. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• CPI required upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care with direct supervision of the registered nurse.
• Performs clinical job duties as outlined by departmental competency.
• Supports nursing and hospital administration by acceptance of established objectives, policies and procedures.
• Accurately documents patient related tasks.
• Maintains professional knowledge and required certifications through growth and development.
• Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including respect for privacy and communication style.
• Performs other related duties as required.
