Job summary

WK Medical Center in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Temporary Night shift nurse for the Emergency Department. You will stock supplies, assist physicians and nurses, and help with patient care during 7p-7a rotations.

• Assist patients with ADLs and other assigned tasks.

Duties include: stocking medical supplies and linen, cleaning rooms between patients, assisting the Emergency Department physicians and nurses with exams and procedures, splinting of stable sprains and fractures, in-dwelling catheter insertion, performing EKG's, specimen collection, CPR, glucose checks, wound care, drug screens, transporting patients, one on one observation of suicidal patients, assisting patients with ADL's, and other assigned tasks.
