Job summary

Qualifications

• CPR certification required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under supervision of nursing or medical staff.
• Participates in patient and family teaching related to disposition.
• Reports changes in patient condition to staff and initiates necessary interventions.
• Manages dissemination of information to referring physicians and forwards records.
• Assists with patient admissions from the ED.
• Answers phones and routes calls to appropriate personnel or departments.
• Participates in Quality Improvement activities and precepts new associates.
• Maintains SPIRIT values in all activities.
