Emergency Department Staff Nurse - AnMed Piedmont *BONUS ELIGIBLE*

Join us as an Emergency Department Staff Nurse at AnMed Piedmont, a dedicated 10-bed unit providing initial evaluation and care for patients with various illnesses or injuries. Staffed with board-certified emergency physicians and registered nurses, the department handles a wide range of acuities from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Job Summary

Deliver quality patient care aligned with AnMed’s standards and guidelines. As a clinically competent professional, the Registered Nurse collaborates with the emergency team to provide age-specific, individualized care. The nurse utilizes the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team to address patient needs, working under the supervision of the charge nurse and following physician orders to ensure safe, effective treatment.

Qualifications
  • South Carolina Registered Nurse license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; emergency and critical care experience preferred.
  • BSN preferred; ADN candidates must enroll in a BSN program within 18 months of hire and complete it within 4 years.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (within 1 year of hire), TNCC or BTLS (within 1 year).
  • Continual professional growth through diverse assignments, development programs, and involvement in professional organizations.
  • Note: ADN nurses hired before Jan 1, 2013, who have maintained their role, are grandfathered and not required to obtain a BSN within 4 years.
