Job summary

Envision is seeking a Scribe to document patient notes in an Electronic Medical Record in a busy Emergency Department, under clinician supervision. You will observe physicians, PAs, and/or NPs, gaining advanced medical terminology knowledge and ED operations experience.

The role offers full-time scheduling (3–4 shifts weekly, including 2 weekend shifts) at New York Presbyterian Queens, with a starting rate of $17.50/hour and potential overtime bonuses for overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of medical terminology
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Accurate note-taking and data entry
• Ability to work in fast-paced ED settings
• Proficiency with computers and EMR systems

Responsibilities

• Document patient notes in EMR under clinician direction
• Witness medical decision-making and support documentation
