Incredible Health in Tarzana, CA is actively hiring an Emergency Department (RN) to provide urgent medical care in a busy hospital setting. Shift options include day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, and per diem positions. Benefits include healthcare, 401K, PTO, and more.

Applicants should have ADN or higher in nursing, an active RN license, and ER experience preferred. ACLS/PALS certifications are a plus; strong critical thinking and collaboration are essential to educate

Qualifications

ADN or higher degree in nursing.
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
ACLS, PALS certification preferred.
1+ years ER experience preferred.
Experience with advanced medical equipment; excellent critical thinking.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first line of defense for patients who require any type of urgent medical care.
Treat patients with trauma, injury or severe medical conditions.
Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care.
Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment.
Participate in code blue and other emergency situations.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, determining whether a patient should be discharged or arranged for a longer hospital stay.
Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan.
