Job summary

Deaconess Gibson is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate care in a fast-paced ED. You will deliver direct patient care, coordinate care plans, supervise team members, and educate patients and families throughout their visit.

Responsibilities include rapid assessment, clinical decision-making, and collaboration with physicians to ensure timely, high-quality treatment across all age groups. Indiana/compact licensure is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Indiana or a compact state.
• BSN is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled, patient-centered care in a busy ED.
• Assess patients and respond rapidly to condition changes with clinical judgment.
• Supervise and coordinate nursing care within the ED team.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for timely treatment.
