Job summary

Mercy Hospital Logan County in Guthrie, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse (Non-Exempt) for the Emergency Department. This PRN position offers flexible hours with rotating shifts, and requires a nurse licensed in the state or a compact license.

The unit maintains a 5:1 patient/nurse ratio and collaborates with the Therapy department to deliver high-quality care. Mercy provides comprehensive benefits and tuition support for staff working 32+ hours per pay period.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Licensure: Maintain current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Experience: None required; at least six months of RN/LPN experience preferred.
• Physical requirements: Lift 50 pounds regularly; prolonged standing and walking during shifts.
• Certifications: ACLS; BLS or completion within 30 days; unit-specific certifications as required.
