Job summary

Baptist Health's Oakleaf Emergency Department is seeking a Registered Nurse for a PRN Day shift. You will provide care for patients with medical, surgical, or other conditions and coordinate with physicians and hospital teams. Education for patients and families is a key part of the role.

Requirements include 1–2 years in medical–surgical and ED settings, an active RN license, and BLS; ACLS/CEN/TNCC certifications are preferred. Telemetry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
• Emergency Department experience.
• Licensed Registered Nurse with BLS required.
• ACLS, TNCC, CEN, CNEN certifications preferred.
• Telemetry experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical, surgical or other conditions.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and care plans.
• Interact with physicians and hospital departments.
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
• Act as patient advocate and coordinate overall plan of care.
