Job summary

Saint Peter’s Healthcare System is seeking an Emergency Department RN for per diem night shifts. You will join a Magnet-designated team known for exceptional nursing practice and patient outcomes in an adult ER setting.

Responsibilities include collaborating with nurses, assessing patients, administering meds, and meticulous documentation. NJ RN license, BLS required; ACLS/PALS and ECG/CC courses completed during orientation are preferred or required.

Qualifications

• NJ Registered Nurse license required.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required, per American Heart Association.
• ACLS, PALS certifications obtained during orientation.
• ECG and Critical Care courses completed during orientation.

The Emergency Department RN Per Diem Nights will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team


• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards


• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care


• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy


• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey


• One (1) year of experience preferred


• BSN preferred


• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association


• ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation


• PALS certification obtained during clinical orientation


• ECG course completed during clinical orientation


• Critical Care course completed during clinical orientation

Salary Range: 56.00 - 56.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
