Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Palm Beach County is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care for an assigned group of patients. The RN will plan, direct, and evaluate holistic nursing care, documenting accurately and coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• PALS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• NIHSS training can be obtained through various organizations and learning systems that offer courses from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and evaluates nursing care for an assigned group of patients.
• Performs comprehensive assessments to develop an individualized plan of care.
• Adheres to objectives, standards, policies and procedures in nursing care.
• Conducts initial and ongoing assessments to monitor patient needs and outcomes.
• Ensures accurate documentation and appropriate supplies; operates equipment as needed.
• Acts as an educator to peers, patients, and families to support care excellence.
