The Opportunity:

Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join their Emergency Room team. As an RN on this team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment. Our ER nurses are well versed in all levels of care, which allows us to continue to be, "The best place to get care. The best place to give care."

This position is part-time, with mixed mid-shift schedules (shifts from 7-7, 9-9, and 10-10).

The Work:
  1. Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
  2. Performs patient care, delegates patient care tasks, and supervises other patient care staff.
  3. Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients.
  4. Consults with other members of the healthcare team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  5. Demonstrates proficiency and adheres to policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

To be successful, you will need to keep the patient experience at the forefront, possess strong multi-tasking and troubleshooting skills, and have the ability to provide proactive care in a collaborative team environment.
