Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN for the Resource Pool to care for Med/Surg/IMC patients. This 41-bed Level III Trauma ED handles STEMI, psychiatric cases, stroke, and requires teamwork with a radiology suite for imaging. RN with ADN required and BSN preferred.

Virginia or compact license, BLS, and 18+ months in a hospital setting are required. This full-time role offers a base pay with potential shift differentials and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• ADN required, BSN or higher preferred.
• Virginia or compact multistate RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification.
• Min 18 months RN hospital experience.
• Experience in Med-Surg or IMCU.

Responsibilities

• Cares for ED patients admitted to Med/Surg level of care.
• Collaborates with ED team to manage patient flow and care.
• Part of the Resource Pool with a differential.
