Job summary

Adventist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ED in Simi Valley, CA. The role involves delivering coordinated nursing care, supervising nursing staff, and coordinating interdisciplinary care in a fast-paced emergency department.

ASAP start with a full-time, night shift schedule. BSN preferred; RN licensure in California required. ACLS, PALS, TEAM/CPI, and NIHSS certifications are mandated by the department policy.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.
• RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• ACLS required.
• PALS required.
• TEAM or CPI required.
• NIH Stroke Scale required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or group per established standards.
• Supervises and directs activities of nursing staff.
• Coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
