Ascension in Brookfield, Wisconsin, is seeking a Night Shift Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a full-time role at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital. The RN will implement care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and ensure orders are executed while supporting discharge planning with the care team.

The position requires an RN license in Wisconsin, BLS and ACLS within specified timelines, and 2+ years ED experience is preferred. Pediatric Life Support is a plus.

Qualifications

• Advanced Life Support within 6 months (180 days) of hire or transfer date; American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date; American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted.
• RN credentialed from Wisconsin Board of Nursing prior to hire; multi-state/Compact State licensure accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred (not required).

Responsabilités

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

Formation

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing

Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing
