Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department to join an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will practice under the Wellstar Professional Practice Model, guided by evidence-based standards and shared governance.

Licensed RNs with acute care experience provide direct patient care, collaborate with physicians and nurses, and uphold patient safety standards in a dynamic emergency setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia or Multi-state Compact (Nurse Compact)
• BLS certification, ACLS/PALS as required
• Strong communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based practice
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care respecting cultural diversity
• Coordinate care with patients and families, ensuring goals align with plan of care
• Maintain current clinical practice standards and participate in governance and performance improvement
• Support efficient use of resources and contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment
