Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks an experienced RN to join a full-time night shift team. You will assess patients, create care plans, administer medications, educate families, and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements include Associate's Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), Florida RN license, and BLS. Sign-on up to $15,000 and relocation assistance may apply.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in Florida.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care preferred.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physical, psychological, developmental and spiritual factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions per orders.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure teamwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Ensure infection control, safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care to team members; participate in performance improvement.
