Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• BS in Nursing preferred.
• Registered Nurse license in New York State required (Upon Hire).
• 2 years of RN experience in the Emergency Department required.
• Certification in specialty preferred (Upon Hire).
• BLS/ACLS/PALS and other required training Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates leadership in coordinating and delivering patient care.
• Participates in interdisciplinary plan of care and ensures documentation.
• Maintains standards of practice and participates in quality/ safety initiatives.
• Provides patient and family education and discharge planning within timelines.
