Job summary

ST. CHARLES HEALTH SYSTEM is seeking an RN in the Emergency Department to provide high-quality, patient-and-family centered care across shifts. The role requires licensure in Oregon, current BLS/ACLS, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

The RN will assess and treat patients, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with the care team to improve patient outcomes in a fast-paced ED environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure required (Oregon).
• BSN preferred.
• 1 year ED experience or SCHS fellowship recommended.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred; TNCC/ATCN within 6 months; NRP likely beneficial.
• Procedural Sedation competency within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient and family centered care per SCHS policies.
• Assess patient condition using clinical judgment; plan and coordinate care.
• Administer medications per policies and document accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and participate in QA/VIP activities.
• Maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and staff.
