Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse I to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care under general supervision, utilizing the nursing process to deliver safe and effective care in a dynamic health care setting.

This regular, full-time position requires an Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor’s preferred) and SC nursing licensure (compact state acceptable). A $30,000 sign-on bonus is available for new hires with experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Licensed as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current BLS certification required; PALS and ACLS certifications required.
