Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Idaho RN license and BLS certification.
• ACLS within six months and PALS within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the ED and triage patients safely.
• Assess, reassess, monitor patient status and communicate changes to physicians.
• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments for all age groups.
• Manage pain and educate patients and families about care plans.
• Interpret cardiac monitoring data and respond to dysrhythmias.
• Utilize point-of-care testing per policy and document findings.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and comply with safety standards.
• Assist physicians with procedures and participate in performance improvement.
