Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse in Houston, Texas. As an RN, you will collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care, conduct nursing assessments, assist in exams, and maintain medical records.

Applicants must be graduates of an accredited School of Professional Nursing, possess a Texas nursing license, and preferably have a Bachelor of Nursing. Experience levels range from newly licensed to 10+ years.

Qualifications

• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
• Certified in Basic Life Support.
• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients.
• Coordinates the planning for the delivery of nursing care with an interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborates with, directs, and may delegate to the healthcare team.
• Coordinates treatment plans; develops/implements discharge and/or transfer plans.
• Participates in a systemic, interdisciplinary, and ongoing evaluation of programs.
• Adheres to all regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards.
• Promotes individual professional growth and development.
