Job summary

Bergen New Bridge Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. You will assess patients, deliver education to patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, high-quality care.

Requirements include NJ RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS certification, and a BSN or enrollment with a minimum of 2 years ED experience.

Qualifications

• Current NJ licensure as RN.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, IV Therapy.
• BSN preferred with 2+ years of ED experience or enrollment with completion within 3 years.
• English proficiency required for communication with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Gives comprehensive patient care.
• Initiates and follows through with patient and family teaching.
• Identifies and documents initial observation and assessment of the patient's needs for immediate nursing action.
• Systematically and accurately assesses nursing needs to detect changes in the clinical picture.
• Selects, plans, evaluates, and documents care based on assessment.
