Kaiser Permanente in Oregon seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to deliver high-quality care under supervision within a collaborative health care team. The role includes comprehensive assessments, care planning, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements include RN license in Oregon, ED experience, and completion of pediatric or stroke certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum nine (9) months of RN experience.
• One (1) year of current ED experience or successful completion of the Kaiser Permanente New Grad Internship Program in the ED.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients and plan individualized nursing care.
• Coordinate discharge planning with hospital departments and community agencies.
• Implement physicians’ orders and document in EMR according to policy.
• Evaluate patient responses and participate in unit quality assurance activities.
• Provide patient teaching and support to families.
