Job summary

South Shore Health in Weymouth, MA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role is part-time with an evening shift, located at 55 Fogg Road, Weymouth, MA 02190.

The RN will administer medications, develop patient-centered care plans, and conduct timely admissions assessments while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Qualifications include an active MA RN license, BLS, ACLS, and advanced emergency certifications (NRP, PALS, TNCC, TCAR).

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active MA license.
• BLS, ACLS, Emergency Response Training, NRP, PALS, TNCC, TCAR Certifications required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers, transcribes, and records medications following SSH policies.
• Develops and communicates a prioritized plan of care for each patient.
• Initiates admission assessment within 8 hours of admission and documents teaching needs.
• Documents all patient care per nursing policies and standards.
• Supports discharge/transfer planning to meet 12:00 pm goal.
• Upholds safety, quality, and compliance standards; maintains patient privacy.
