Job summary

Coshocton Regional Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will provide direct patient care in telemetry, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.

The role requires current RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and ER experience. You will collaborate with physicians, ensure EMTALA compliance, and support patient/family teaching while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Current valid RN license in the state.
• BLS certification required at hire and maintained.
• ACLS and PALS/ENPC certifications required within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year ER staff nurse experience; telemetry familiarity preferred.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in ED/Telemetry.
• Direct patient/family teaching and guide other nursing personnel.
• Communicate patient condition changes to the physician with test results.
• Maintain patient privacy and EMTALA compliance.
