Baptist Health is a major healthcare system providing hospital-based and outpatient services in central Alabama. The ED RN shift from 7A to 7P leads nursing staff, ensures quality and continuity of patient care, and collaborates with physicians to implement care plans.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license with BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on unit. BSN preferred and BNLS training enhances advancement.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure and BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required by area.
• Strong communication, teamwork, infection control and safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Use the nursing process for patient assessments, planning and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians on patient care planning.
• Assume additional duties within the scope of the role as assigned.
