Job summary

Incredible Health in Marysville, CA is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide urgent care and trauma services in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will respond to code blue events, assess patients quickly, administer medications, collaborate with physicians, and educate families about treatment plans. Shift options include day, night, and mid shifts with full- and part-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ year ER experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients who require urgent medical care.
• Treat patients suffering from trauma, injury or severe conditions.
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care.
• Monitor health conditions, administer medications and manage equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Care of psychiatric patients, Fast track, Transport , Trauma, Trauma level 1, Trauma level 2, Trauma level 3, or Trauma level 4.

• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment medical equipment
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, determining whether a patient should be discharged or arranged for a longer hospital stay
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan
