Job summary

Incredible Health in Bradenton, FL seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assess and treat patients with trauma and acute conditions, coordinate care with physicians, and participate in emergency responses.

The role supports day, night, and mid-shifts as full-time or part-time, with opportunities for education and tuition assistance. ADN or higher, active RN license, and ER experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree is required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license is required.
• 1+ years ER experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients needing urgent medical care.
• Treat trauma, injuries or severe medical conditions.
• Assess needs, prioritize care, monitor conditions, administer meds and operate equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop care plans and determine discharge or admission.
• Educate patients and families about condition and plan.

Qualifications

• Treat patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize careMonitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment medical equipment
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, determining whether a patient should be discharged or arranged for a longer hospital stay
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan
