• PURPOSE OF JOB : To complete an accurate patient registration for Emergency department services

• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
• Accurately identify the patient and select the patient's medical record
• Complete an accurate registration at the time of service, verifying all data fields with patient
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits at the time of service using automated resources and document accurately
• Identify and collect patient's copayment for Emergency services as applicable
• Complete all required forms and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance
  
  

Job Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Education: High School or equivalent is required

• Experience: Hospital/Insurance experience preferred
