Equiliem is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Houston, TX. The role supports emergency and trauma procedures in a Level II trauma facility with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, documenting in Meditech.

Shifts are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., every other weekend. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. Meditech experience is preferred to ensure seamless patient care documentation.

• Follow unit safety standards and established patient care protocols.

Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Houston, TX
Schedule/Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; every other weekend required
Pay: $1,899 to $2,076 weekly
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Position Overview

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides patient care in a 50-bed emergency department within a Level II trauma facility. This role supports emergency and trauma procedures while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver timely, coordinated care. The unit maintains a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio and uses Meditech for electronic documentation.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions, prioritize care, and monitor responses to treatment.
• Provide emergency nursing care and assist with trauma and emergency department procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Recognize changes in patient status and communicate concerns promptly.
