Job summary

VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System seeks an Emergency Department Physician to provide comprehensive, efficient and compassionate care within the ED setting. Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an approved school.
• Current, full, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the US.
• Residency in Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine with board eligibility.
• Board certified or eligible for faculty status if in academic training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency medicine care in the ED and hospital.
• Supervise and educate Internal Medicine Residents and medical students.
• Participate in clinical programs with attention to patient outcomes.
• Comply with bylaws, rules, regulations and documentation standards.
• Engage in research activities related to Emergency Medicine as assigned.
