OhioHealth in Kenton, OH is seeking a patient care assistant to support the Registered Nurse in direct patient care on the Med Surg Unit 1. This role includes assisting in ED intake and triage at the front lobby and supporting the ED during high census and emergent situations.

You will perform activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, collect data, and help maintain safety and a compassionate patient experience alongside licensed and unlicensed staff.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED; BLS Basic Life Support is required by policy.
• CPR certification is required; hands-on patient care and documentation in EMR.
• Basic PC skills and ability to manage patient information and workflows.

• Assist in daily living activities and maintain clean, safe patient areas.
• Support ED intake/triage in front lobby and assist during high census or emergencies.
