Job summary

Ashtabula Regional Medical Center's Emergency Department is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PRN, variable) to assist with processing physician orders and documenting information accurately, supporting Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse in delivering patient care, and facilitating effective communication within the Emergency Department and across other departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Enrollment in or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant, PCT, or Nursing Assistant course preferred.

• Process physician orders and document information accurately.
• Support the RN and LPN in delivering patient care.
• Facilitate effective communication within the Emergency Department and with other departments.
