UF Health’s Emergency Department is seeking an ED Technician with paramedic credentials to join our Gainesville team. The role reports to the ED attending physician under medical direction and RN supervision, delivering patient care within the certification scope while upholding the hospital’s standards.

Responsibilities include collecting patient data, communicating findings to the RN and ED Attending, and supporting autonomous nursing practice focused on patient advocacy in a collaborative

Competenze

• Must have current Florida EMT-Paramedic certification.
• One year paramedic experience required.
• Graduate from an approved paramedic program.
• Basic Life Support certification required; Advanced Life Support
• PALS preferred if available.

Mansioni

• Provide direct and indirect patient care per physician orders and RN supervision.
• Report all clinical and psychosocial findings to the RN and ED Attending.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and scope of practice.
• Support ED team to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care.
