Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant and Massachusetts state licensure.
• MA Board authorization to practice licensure and prescriptive authority.
• BLS & ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.
• ED/urgent care experience and ability to care for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including physical diagnosis and therapeutic management in the Emergency Department under physician supervision.
• Direct patient management and physician support in the main ED.
• Integrated PA coverage at the hospital campuses.

Education

Master's degree in Physician Assistant

Massachusetts state licensure

MA Board authorization to practice licensure

American Heart Association - Basic Life Support

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferred)

Prescriptive authority from MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA

Experience in Emergency Department or Urgent Care

Competency in care for patients of all ages
