Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Uptown is a joint venture surgical hospital serving the North Texas area with 8 operating rooms, 24 private inpatient rooms, and a full-service ED offering a range of orthopedic, spine, general and other surgical services.

The Supervisor of the Emergency Department directs daily operations, financial management, and HR activities, coordinating across hospital leadership to meet goals and maintain high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience leading emergency department operations.
• Ability to manage personnel and budgeting.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day Emergency Department operations.
• Develop and implement recruitment and retention strategies.
• Ensure compliance with standards and improve care quality.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to meet facility goals.
• Tactically manage census fluctuations and staffing needs.
