Job summary

East Liverpool City Hospital is seeking a Part Time Nurse Aide for the Emergency Department to support daily patient care under RN supervision. The role focuses on assisting with activities of daily living, basic nursing tasks, and maintaining a safe ED environment for non-critical patients.

Applicants should hold an active CNA certificate, BLS, and BVP certifications as noted, with prior acute care or clinic exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate required or upon hire.
• BLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.
• Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certification within 6 months of hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living and basic nursing care for non-critical patients.
• Maintains a safe environment under the supervision of the RN in charge.
