Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC seeks an experienced healthcare executive to direct one or more major functional areas within the Emergency Department. This role manages two or more professional staff and senior managers, with substantial discretionary authority over budgets and initiatives.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN and a Masters Degree in ED management with at least five years of progressive management experience, current SC RN license, BCLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years progressive management experience.
• Minimum Education BSN required Masters Degree 5 years in ED management experience.
• Required Licenses: Registered Nurses Current SC RN license in healthcare discipline. Current BCLS (within last 2 years). If BCLS is expired upon hire, must complete course before assignment of patient care. Current ACLS (within last 2 years). If ACLS is expired upon hire, must complete course before assignment of patient care. ACLS , BLS , RN
