AdventHealth in Littleton, Colorado is hiring for a full-time position focused on patient care tasks and clinical support. Responsibilities include recording vitals, assisting with activities of daily living, and ensuring patient comfort on a day shift.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and records pain rating, weight, height, intake and output, and finger stick blood glucose.
• Demonstrates efficiency with safety lights, turns, and positioning of patients to ensure correct body alignment and maintain skin integrity.
• Assists patients with ADLs, including passing meals, nourishments, and fresh water at bedside.
• Participates in hourly rounding and answers call lights in a timely manner.
• Reports changes in vital signs and patient status to appropriate staff.
• Maintains a clean, organized environment and helps with inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Follows directions of registered nurses, clinical coordinators, and managers.
• Supports the unit secretary by answering phones and directing patients and visitors.
• Delivers and picks up items from other departments and interacts with all ancillary departments.
• Completes other duties as assigned and proactively anticipates the needs of other team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
