Location: Fountain Valley, CA / Predominately Remote (Must be located in California)

Shift: Days (8hr)

Pay Range*: $29.76/hr - $43.16/hr

Position Summary

This position is responsible for applying codes in the EHR for all Emergency Room type accounts. Code assignment is based on ICD-10-CM Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting and CPT. Ensure Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI) data elements are accurate.

Meets quality standards for ICD-10-CM and CPT code assignment.

Codes from only compliant documentation.

Maintains productivity standards to ensure A/R Day goals are met/exceeded.

Follows company policies, procedures, and directives.

Maintains required coding credentials.

Other duties as assigned.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. Minimum Requirements
