Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Ontario, Oregon seeks a CNA/Unit Secretary for the full-time Day Shift in the Emergency department. The role supports staff by coordinating non-clinical tasks, communicating patient information, and maintaining EMR.

The ideal candidate will hold a CNA certification in Oregon, BLS/HCP, and have high school equivalency. Prior hospital/office experience is preferred, with knowledge of medical terminology.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification in Oregon required.
• BLS/HCP certification required.
• Previous hospital or medical office experience preferred.
• Basic Medical Terminology and Anatomy knowledge recommended.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate non-clinical functions to support staff.
• Communicate patient information and messages to team members.
• Maintain Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Facilitate smooth operation of the unit.
• Perform CNA duties involving direct patient care.
