Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing personnel and assist in interviewing new applicants.
• Monitor staff performance and document issues.
• Contribute to staffing patterns and monitor day-to-day staffing utilization.
• Identify and communicate systems problems affecting client care.
• Participate in development and implementation of client care standards and policies.
• Assess patient needs and priorities, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Provide direction during emergencies as delegated.
• Assist in developing and presenting in-service programs.
• Attend meetings and committees as designated.
• Maintain confidentiality of all records.

What You'll Do

Requirements

Education

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing

Experience

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire OR Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within 6 months of hire
