Job summary

Mosaic Life Care in Missouri seeks an Emergency Services Associate to assist with patient care in the Emergency Department. You will transport patients, collect specimens, perform point-of-care testing, and support nursing and medical staff across departments.

Required is a high school diploma and relevant training or certification (UAP, CNA, EMT or nursing program graduate). Willingness to travel between facilities and to uphold safety protocols in a fast-paced setting is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Completion of UAP training or fundamentals of nursing or CNA with certification.
• Emergency medical licensure (EMT) or nursing program graduate may apply.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to rooms and assist with patient care.
• Collect and transport specimens (blood, urine, stool, sputum).
• Perform point-of-care testing and monitor quality controls.
• Perform EKGs and upload to the EMR.
• Assist with wound care, suturing, epistaxis control, and splinting.
• Restock supplies and maintain equipment in ED.
• Perform clerical duties as needed.
• Assist licensed caregivers with procedures.
