Job summary

East Alabama Medical Center in Alabama is seeking a Multi-Care Tech (MCT) to support nursing staff in the emergency department. You will perform specialized patient care tasks, help maintain a safe and therapeutic ED environment, and promote patient satisfaction while ensuring efficient department operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 10 years of relevant experience.
• BLS obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer.
• Required Registration/License/Certification

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a registered nurse and other ED team members, the MCT performs specialized patient care functions for assigned patients.
• Observe and maintain the ED environment with safe, therapeutic, and cost-effective care.
• Assist in improving patient satisfaction and keeping the department clean and functioning effectively.
• Answer inquiries via phone, patient call systems, message relaying, and promote good working relationships with hospital staff and outside agencies.
