Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• BCLS certification; If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within three months of employment date.
• Nurse Aide I/II listings with NC Nurse Aide Registry.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification within six months of employment date.

Responsibilities

• Performs organizational, administrative, and communications tasks in the ED.
• Provides patient care within scope of practice and hospital policies.
• Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life-span.
