Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate care to patients and clients.
  • Perform nursing tasks, patient monitoring, and treatments.
  • Assess and triage incoming patients based on understanding of diseases and physical exams.
  • Administer medications and fluids, monitor for adverse effects.
  • Assist with diagnostic tests, sample collection, and imaging.
  • Support advanced procedures such as anesthesia, vascular access, ultrasonography, and treatment planning.
  • Mentor and collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of care.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT).
  • 1+ years of veterinary technician experience; emergency or specialty experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and technical skills.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, lift up to 25 kg, and support up to 40 kg with assistance.
